AirPod Pros not connecting

I just got a new pair of AirPod Pros and tried connecting them for the first time they won’t connect to any of my devices. Everything is updated to the latest software and I have Bluetooth on. I tried all reset options and those didn’t work either.

Hey kayvon224,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities, and congratulations on your new AirPods Pro! If we understand correctly, you're not able to pair them with any of your devices, and you have reset them. If you haven't already, complete all steps in the following guide: If your AirPods won't connect

If those don't help, let us know more details:

  • Which devices are you pairing them with?
  • What happens when you try to pair them, and if an alert appears, what does it say?
  • What does the status light show on the charging case?

The more details you can provide the better!

Take care.

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve tried connecting my AirPods to my IPhone X and my families IPhone XR, XS Max, and iPhone 11 Pro. They wouldn’t connect to any of these devices and I tried resetting them by holding the back button but they wouldn’t reset. Along with only having the right earbud actively working. If there is a way to fix the earbud without connecting it to a device that would be great.
