Locking sound suddenly became loud

Hi,

I received my new iPhone 12 in October and didn't notice it at first but from then to now, at some point, the locking sound is shorter and louder than normal (unpleasant). I've tried everything in the settings:

Changing Ringer and alerts slider
Checking and unchecking lock sound option
Resetting all settings
Resetting all data and settings

But after a few days the glitch comes back.

I've had two updates but neither fixed the glitch

Would really appreciate any ideas to fix this

One quirk that I have noticed with this phone, and I have not been able to consistently replicate it, is the lock sound mysteriously gets quieter/louder on a whim. I am not sure what triggers this, but sometimes it will be loud, and other times it will be quiet. I have tried turning off attention aware features, but that did not seem to be it. Cracking sound when press lock button on iPhone Xr Came across the issue on the second day after buying the new phone. After some time of not using the phone, the first time I press the Lock button it makes a cracking sound. As if there’s something inside out of its place. The following next times I press the Lock button it sounds normally. After 10-15 mins the phone lies still on the table the first press once again makes a cracking sound. Has anyone came across this issue? Previously had the same on iPhone 7 but after 1y using it.

Lock sound disappeared Hello, There always was a sound when my iPhone was being locked even when actual volume is zeroed but silent mode is off. And the loudness of this ring, as I understand, was dependent on whether I look at the screen. Today I’ve noticed that this sound stopped working. It rings again only after I add some volume. Why this doesn’t work anymore? How to return playing lock sound when the volume is zero but silent mode is off? Thanks, Nikita
