Trying to make an appointment at the Apple store

I have been VERY disappointed by Apple customer service lately. For Christmas I purchased an iPhone 12 Pro max. Since then I've been trying to find a user guide specifically for this phone. Almost everywhere I go on the internet I get technical support or sales pitches telling me how great it is but no user guides.

Then I try to make an appointment at the Apple store to buy a case for the phone but the web page tells me UNAVAILALE. However, it does not tell me when a slot is open for me to go in. Yes, I understand the COVID restrictions but why can't I make an appointment for the near future - like a week or two from today.

The wonderful success that Apple has experienced will be its downfall unless they change their customer support.

Perform Send-In Service:

With many Apple Stores currently closed at the moment, all there may me for service in your local area is send-in service. So, contact Apple, and have them look at it. My Mac has been sent out, and they are working on it. I've used send-in service many times, and its worked just fine.

  1. Apple: would send you a box
  2. You: would sent it to Apple
  3. Apple: would look at it, letting you know your options
  4. You: would determine whether or not to get it serviced
  5. Apple: would service it
  6. You: would get the Mac back.

For Thought: If needed, write some notes on what particular things they should look at (i.e. certain locations of the iPhone), and include the paper of notes in the box when shipping it out. Go Here: Send-In Service - Include Handwritten Notes with the Packaging

About Apple Support:

Why the Wait?:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. And that make sense because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

Thanks, Chris but this is pretty much a generic iPhone user guide. I’m looking for the iPhone 12 pro max user guide. I can go to Apple Books and buy one but why can’t Apple put out a guide? For example there is no home button etc. I would like to know HOW to use this phone, what does it offer me for my $1100
