Hello all,
Upon unlocking my phone, the notes app opens automatically. I would like for this not to happen.
A search on Apple support shows at least one other user having this issue. Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you for the advice. It does seem to open to one particular note. I am aware of how to force an app to close but have not restarted afterwards. I will do that the next time it happens and report back. Strangely enough, this phenomenon has not happened since I posted this query on Apple Support.

When it opens, does it seem to open to a specific note or anything like that?
If you haven’t already, force close Notes and then restart your iPhone using the steps in the following links. This can often resolve issues like this:
