Transfer from iPad 2 to iPad Pro

Purchased a new IPad Pro Gen. 4. Started the transfer between my old iPad Air 2 and the new iPadPro. Everything seemed to go well, except the new iPad does not stop “preparing to transfer”. It has been stuck like that for over 15 hrs. If I shut it down and turn it back on , it doesn’t clear. Looking for idea to solve this problem.

If iPad isn’t responding, do one of the following:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
