Hey there raml048,

We'd like to help get your Mac starting up right, so let's rule out some basics:

  1. If there's anything connected besides the charging cable, please disconnect it now then test for the same issue.
  2. We understand you're not using a Magic Trackpad nor Magic Mouse with your MacBook Air, but are there any nearby that you use for another Mac? If there is, please turn them off for now, then let us know the results.
  3. If you haven't tried one yet, we recommend force restarting your Mac if it's not loading past this point. You'd do this by holding the power button until the screen turns off. Usually this is done after ten seconds of holding down the power button.
  4. We'd recommend starting in safe mode, then restarting normally: Start up your Mac in safe mode

Take care!
