Due to some issues I tried to reset my M1 Mac today
I am on latest Mac OS Big Sur stable update on my MacBook Air
I always get an error at the account creation page
That account can't be created with this name and password
I tried to redo the whole process of erasing and reinstalling Mac
tried different unique passwords and names
But nothing works
I am stuck and this is the only machine I have, Help!

I contacted apple and my problem is solved now!
you have to open terminal and then on top left in some menu, there is an option to erase Mac...use that...then do the remaining procedure
The error will go away!
