Sending links to Messenger

Hi. Today I noticed that safari doesn’t share links on messenger. I’ve tried multiple times to do that trough the “share” option and it doesn’t work. I can still copy the link and paste it in the conversation but that’s not really the solution I’m seeking. Is that a common problem?

Share Button Action Changed? Previously (OS Monterey) the Share button on a web page allowed me to click on it, choose Messages (or select a recent Message recipient), and the screen focus would change allow me to enter some text into the message. With Ventura, this seems to have changed. When I share a web page the focus never changes. If I go to the Messages app, I can see the web page entered into a new message, but I now have to click on the Messages app in the Dock to see the message. Is this a bug in Ventura, or can anyone think of a reason for the change?

Facebook messenger I am now unable to send links via Facebook messenger. I click share and it looks like it’s sent but when I go to the chat it’s not there.
