Is there a way to remotely change settings on a iPhone? I want to turn off WiFi so it will use data. Find my phone isn’t working because it’s not connected.

find my home is not working on list phone because it is not connected. Is there a way to remotely force the phone to use data so that it will connect?

iPhone not showing in Finder I am trying to access iPhone using Finder on my Mac via WiFi. It always used to work, but now the iphone does not show up in finder. I followed the correct procedures to enable the iphone hotspot and mac wifi. The mac says the iphone is connected, it shows the iphone connected in the wifi drop down list. System settings, network definitely shows the iPhone is connected. But the iphone does not appear in the finder sidebar. The finder settings has iOS Devices enabled. I already followed what it says at If your device doesn’t appear in the sidebar when connected to Mac - Apple Support but it still doesn't work. I recently upgraded from Monterey to Ventura, maybe that's a clue. Suggestions please?

Possible to erase data remotely when power off? I’d like to know, if it is still possible to initiate a remote data erase of your iPhone/iPad with the Find My app, when the device is turned off (but the battery is not dead) and the “Find my network” settings have been enabled? Can the data erase process in this case be initiated, when a random other device closeby communicates with the device, even though the device has no internet connection in power off state?
