Ipad 8th generation charging cords not the same

ipad 8th generation comes with 20W power adapter and smaller connector than my iphone. Is there an adapter that I can use for all the iphone cables I already have?

To use the 20W USB-C Power Adapter with your iPhone - and other devices that have a Lightning connector - you simply require the correct cable:

Which iPhone do you have? The iPhone 5 and newer (mostly) come with a lightning cable which would work with the iPad.

Or are you looking for a different USB block? Apple likely sells a USB A block or you can get one on amazon from a brand like Anker.
