When I try and pair my watch series 6 to my peloton bike+, my watch wont give me the on-screen prompt to ‘connect’.
instead, my watch asks me to select a workout. The bike wont display my heart rate or push any data to peloton.
how can I fix this?

Thank you! This is apparently what I needed to do. Must have been the Peloton update that was pushed out on 1/26. I tried everything else and the “recalibrate” is what worked!

I did perform a factory reset and reset my Apple Watch and it worked while the bike is on, but after turn it off and back on it doesn’t work again. I am given up.
It worked until I powered it down then when I turned it back on - same problem. Are you going to follow up and tell them it didn’t work long term?
Yea, you should definitely follow up. The more complaints the more they'll take it seriously.

Yes, it was not working yesterday. When I got on my Bike this afternoon, it said it updated. And it worked!! Very Happy!!

Another unrelated question, do you guys always turn off your bike after you’re done? Or just leave it to sleep mode?
Never turned mine off. Just let it go into sleep mode. That way it can get those updates.
