Remove unfindable Fortnite files

How can I remove a Fortnite installation program (more than 22GB) that doesn't work and cannot be found nor removed in library?

  • in the list of storage apps there's a 'Team Fortress 2'- file ('never opened') of 22,52 GB
  • in the storrage list is is mentioned as 'used space'
  • when I look at the place is should be storaged in library, I cannot find this file, neither can I find it when I search on my MacBook Pro
  • In my eyes, it is 'not used' used capacity and I want to remove it.
  • because of this 'used space', I cannot install new apps on my MacBook. So I want to free this space

How can I delete this 'non existing' existing file?

Hello JanDanneel,

It sounds like you're needing some assistance removing an app from your Mac. We will be happy to assist you.

Have you tried using Launchpad to see if you were able to remove it? How to delete apps on your Mac

If this doesn't help, have you tried reaching out to the app developer to see if they had an installer or method that they use to uninstall?

Please let us know.

Cheers!
