Terrible picture quality

My iPhone picture quality suddenly became terrible after a recent iOS update. Is Apple going to fix this with the next iOS update?

We understand you are having an issue with your photo quality and we're happy to help. Is the issue occurring with all camera modes? Does the issue occur after restarting the device using the steps here: Restart your iPhone

Also, does the issue occur when you remove any screen protectors or protective cases from the device?

Lastly, does the issue occur with both the front and rear camera?

Thanks for the additional information. We'd recommend making sure the device is using the most recent software version of 14.3 in Settings > General > About, next to version. If it is not, then please backup the device and update the software using the steps here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Hi, thank you for your response. I tried everything you suggested, and I was hopeful, but the pictures are still bad unfortunately. They are blurry and pixelated.

All types of pictures are like this: regular, portrait mode, selfies, bright light, low light, live on, live off, flash on, flash off.

Looking through my photo history, the camera clearly got bad in late October, right after the update to iOS 14. A quick google search shows me this has happened to several other people (I’m going to guess it happened to everybody who updated).

Will Apple be fixing this with the next iOS update?
