When starting Upgrade to Big Sur from Catalina [MacBook Pro 2016] --- after started downloading, can this interrupted, and continue downloading in another place...?


What if the connection interrupted due to a problem with my ISP...?

You can try that. Many times it works. Occasionally you may have to start over.


If it gets stuck, it might insist you already have the download. In that case, you just delete the existing (partial) download and begin again. It is typically stored as a file named "Install MacOS ... " in the /Applications folder.
