Is there any way to use the apple pencil on real paper?

I love my apple pencil, and use it all of the time. But inevitably, I need to use normal paper at times. So I have to carry a normal pen and my apple pencil. Are there any caps etc that turn the apple pencil into a dual writing device?

Well,

That Wacom Bamboo stylus is just a commonplace, purchase anywhere, “dumb”, simple capacitive stylus with NO electronics inside.

That is why that type of stylus can have a ballpoint pen and ink barrel built inside of such a stylus.

Most found everywhere, “dumb”, capacitive stylii are hollow and made of electrical conducting aluminium to conduct electricity from your body/fingers, through the stylus barrel, to the conductive tip, which works essentially the same way your bare finger works on an iOS device’s screen.

Adonit has something that is similar to that, as well.

A smart, Bluetooth stylus is something completely different and has all sorts of electronics that fill the inside cavity of the stylus that sense surface pressure and angle and speed/velocity of the movements of the stylus, has battery and charging circuitry to regulate charging and circuitry for the Lightnng connector.

You are comparing two different types of stylii.

A “dumb”, unpowered, unprogrammed stylus VS a “smart”, Bluetooth operated and logic board programmed and operated stylus.

Two different types of stylus technologies.

Not really.

Currently with both Apple Pencils, all of the electronics go almost the entire length of the barrel.

Apple Pencils have a very tiny, thin logic board in them that is stretch out over the length of the Pencil.

There is a whole micro world of very tiny microprocessors in an Apple Pencil.

In case you never seen what is inside of an Apple Pencil,

Here is a YouTube video link to enlighten you.

Exactly, hence why my original question/suggestion was regarding a replacement cap, something external to the actual pencil.

Although, it would be pretty easy for Apple to create a dual device in the future. I'm pretty sure the electronics could fit in one half of the apple pencil, or around a cartridge, etc. I imagine the length/size has more to do with maintaining familiarity with current writing devices than technical constraints.
