I am trying to download the Fitness app on my iPad but receive the following message “This app requires specific features not available on this device”. When I scroll down to the compatibility section for the Fitness app it states the app “works on this iPad”. What is the issue?

My fiancé has an Apple Watch Series 5 running the latest Watch OS. The iPad is on my Apple account and Family sharing is on. She is trying to use my iPad for the bigger screen since AirPlay doesn’t work.
Thank you. While this post partially answers my question, it does not explain why I have access to Fitness+ on my iPhone XS that is not paired with an Apple Watch 3 or later. According to this post, I should not have access to Fitness+ on my iPhone XS for the exact same reasons I do not have access on my iPad.
