Copy People Names as Tags

Is there a way to add tags to my photos from faces that have been recognized? I export my photos into another application on my media server that won't recognize the faces identified inside of Mac Photos of course, but if I could somehow copy those face/people names as 'tags' and save them in the metadata before I export, it'd make my online photos searchable & way more organized instantly. There must be an Applescript somewhere that can accomplish this, yah?
