My NBA app has disappeared on my Gen3 Apple TV. How can I get it back?

I suppose that you have checked if it was accidentally set to hidden?
On closer inspection, the current NBA site mentions that they support Apple TV (4th generation or later), which would mean that your device is no longer supported by them.
