Image Scanner is no longer working. The error message says "Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)"

When accessing the printer/scanner through the Mac

Clicking on the scan option

Open scanner , it then says Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)


Printer /scanner is Epson workforce WF-3640

Mac OS 11.1 (20C69)

iMac Line (2012 and Later)
