Mac notebook air expanded battery

I have a Mac notebook care 13 inch 2015 model. I now have cursor random problem jumping all over the screen

battery is low and needs a replacement I have heard that that expanded battery could be causing the cursor random movement problem and wonder if anybody knew about Apple allowing an extended warranty to replace for free or partial payment on battery?
