How to fix weak security on my wifi

I have a weak security message showing on my WiFi iPhone. Cable tells me to check with Apple. So I bought a new phone. That did not change a thing. I have no idea how to get security. I have a iPhone 12 now. 5G.

Get out the manual for your router. Your router is configured to use a security protocol that is obsolete and is no longer considered secure.

The phone you are using is irrelevant.

iOS 14 added a warning message to inform users when their WiFi router security settings are not very secure.

So the fix, is that you need to figure out how to get into your WiFi router settings and set it to be more secure
