Startup sound is distorted
Sounds like I have blown speakers, but audio is normal. This only happens at startup.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your speaker audio sounds distorted during startup but is OK otherwise.
Do you have any external speakers connected when this happens? If so, does this continue if you disconnect them?
We recommend resetting the NVRAM since that controls sound volume. Check out Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac for further details and steps.
