Screen sharing zoom & skype
When sharing screen on zoom or skype from my Mac to a Windows PC the screen shows as white

We'd like to help rule out what we can from the Apple side of things when attempting to share the screen in those two apps. Let's start ruling out some possible causes:
- The first thing to do would be to check for any app updates. This link shows how to Update apps or use automatic downloads.
- We see you're using macOS 10.13 currently, but for compatible models, the the latest version is macOS 11.1. You can verify which version number is installed by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. Check out: macOS Big Sur is compatible with these computers It would be a good idea to check for any Windows updates on your PC.
- If you already have macOS 11.1 installed in the time since you sent your message, we recommend a restart. Check out the section 'Restart' here: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac
- Making sure if another Mac or Windows PC has the same issue other than the one being used would help to narrow things down some.
- Another good thing to rule out would be to test deleting both apps, then downloading them again to test. You may need to contact the app developer to check for any issues on their end: How to contact an app developer
