I got a neat case for my iPad Air 2 for xmas but it’s too big. The sticker says “iPad 2 and 3 Generation.”
What iPad (new or older) would fit this case that would also be updateable to the most recent version of iOS (if possible)?

You could all ways find out who made the case and see if they made more for other iPads.

Thanks Bob. I’m kinda new to this and so an IPad Air (which is my only experience) must be obviously different from a 2 or 3rd generation if I’m understanding your reply correctly. Sounds like my case is useless as well.
An iPad 2 or 3rd generation would fit a case which says iPad 2 and 3 generation. You answered your own question
