I accidentally dropped off my fedex package prepaid in USPS box. This package has my iphone 8 plus which was dropped off at usps blue box on Friday 12/18/20. I have the tracking number and it shows that fedex is waiting for the package to be sent to them. I am afraid that someone might have stolen it.

The United States Postal service has nothing to do with FedEx.
Putting a FedEx package into a US postal service box is not going to have it delivered to FedEx, it most likely is sitting at a post office depot going nowhere.
I suggest you contact the post office.
I originally had the prepaid package sent to me so I could get my iphone 8 plus battery replaced. I noticed the mistake after I dropped the fedex package tracking number 948996967336 after the fact. I went to the post office and they stated they don't have it. Fedex can't stop the shipment cause they don't have it and its not been scanned. I was told to shut off find my iphone.
