Mistake In Shipping Trade In Phone

I mistakenly mailed my trade-in at a USPS store instead of a FedEx store. Dropped it in their drop shoot.

The USPS person said that erroneously shipped FedEx packages are picked up weekly by FedEx and taken to a large facility but they won't look for my package among those they've picked up and I don't have the tracking #.

I suspect eventually FedEx will ship my trade-in iPhone 11 but my time to get it into Apple has just 7 days left.

Wouldn't Apple, who created the shipping trade-in package have the tracking # and be able to tell if it's laying in the FedEx facility?

Any ideas how I can find out the location of my trade-in?

Apple uses a trade-in partner, so Apple likely doesn't know the tracking number. You can call Apple and ask for help. Not much anyone on this user only forum can do for you.
