what if my iphone was lost or stolen?, and i cant track it down by using find my iphone? what do i do?

You would normally follow the instructions here, If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support

What do you mean by Find My iPhone is not helping? If the phone is powered off, or is not connected to the internet, it cannot be tracked. What do you see when you check Find My iPhone?
