What will take adobe's place and how do I install it?

What do I use to replace adobe? Thank you

Adobe is a company that makes dozens of products. Which one are you referring to?


If by chance you mean Adobe Flash. Then you should not need anything to replace it. Flash has been superseded by other technologies already built into current browsers. Unless you still need access a website that uses Flash, you should not need it. The vast majority of comercial websites you may access have long since moved away from flash.


If you still need to access a flash based website, then you can keep flash while you look for alternatives. There is no replacement for it.

Are you certain it was Flash? As mentioned maybe it was Adobe Reader. If they are PDFs they use Adobe Reader, not Flash. There should be nothing you need to do if that is the case.
