Why can’t I buy AppleCare+?

I got this iPhone today, and I was hoping I could purchase AppleCare+. The option doesn’t show up at all for me. I bought the phone through Verizon, so maybe that’s the cause.

"Business" is in the Link:

I can't seem to find a link for "consumer" use on the verizon.com domain. So, chat with Version asking them if it is available for consumers. If they say that it is not available for "consumers", then that is because is only available for "business".


Contact Apple Sippor:

For an ultimate "Yes" or "No", contact Apple Support, asking them what your options are.

Apple Support Info:

Ask to speak with the Apple Store staff. They'll know the answer upfront, and firsthand.

Why the Wait:

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, calls and chats are taking a bit linger to get through. And, that makes sense, because many are at home working out-of-the-house or are taking classes over-the-web, this they have more time on their hands to contact Apple Support. So, it might take a bit to get through to Apple Support. But, just stay on the line, and someone will be with you. :)

Ask Verizon:

  1. Go Here: AppleCare+ Business for iPhone 12 - Verizon
  2. Click: Chat with us now!
  3. Ask: Verizon if this officially goes through Apple
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
