My iphone 8 got wet and I plugged it to charge, now it will disconnect and won’t charge, the weird thing is that I can charge while it’s off and I can charge it with an adaptor for 30 pin charger. Ehat could be wrong ?

Since I can charge it while it’s off or with the adaptor it would be dumb to recicle it, don’t you think? Btw now I can charge it with another regular charger just somehow it doesn’t charge with some except if it’s off. Not a great reply for a level 10, honestly.
A wet device is doomed. It will not last.
