M1 air crackling sound

My sound was already crackling since the day i got my new mac, experienced te same problem with my previous macbooks but after a while and not right after I unboxed it. It’s a shame that this problem still exists while the sound itself is really good. When i am watching a video it really annoys me and I hope apple will come with a durable fix soon. Posted this to see if there are more with the same problem to show apple this is not something to fix with software solutions.

that folder doesn't exist on my macbook pro

Within plug-ins I've got components, MAS, VST, VST3

If from official Apple retail store or Apple online store, get a new one.

No point in waiting an undetermined amount of time w/o your Mac.

Hey, thanks, man. I think it worked for me. I had 3 blank folders in this path. As of now, I'm not having that crackling sound.

Did you tried go to Audio Midi Setup in Spotlight and set output sound format of your device to 44 100 Hz? This helped me.

Yes. i have tried all the options there.

still the same. I was on 44 100 MHz by default.
