iphone Video Timestamp

I was sent a video through messages. Both phones are iphones. I saved the video to my camera roll.

Is there any way that the timestamp on video can be wrong?

Bad wifi? Airplane mode? Saved snapchat to camera roll? The video was taken on an ipad or iphone.
