How can i download a working version of mojave (for upgrading from high sierra). On iTunes the version seems to be damaged and is not downloadable. So where to find a proper Mojave?

Remove the currently downloaded Mojave installer from your /Applications folder. Reboot, and using the Safari browser only, follow the link and download for Mojave in How to get old versions of macOS. It must be a late-2012 or newer iMac.
