Does iphone 12 Pro need a different charger than iphone 7Plus? I've got the new phone and don't know how to connect it to a charger, or to my MacBookPro (mid year 2014 15"screen)

That solved my issue. I WAS trying to use the cable that came with it, thinking I was supposed to ! Wonderful that I don't because I have plenty of the cables for the iPhone 7 Plus. Thank you so much!!!

The iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 7 Plus use the same Lightning port that can be found on your phone.
The iPhone 7 came with a USB-A to Lighting cable, however, the iPhone 12 now comes with a USB-C to Lightning cable. Even though the new phone comes with a different cable, you can use your current charger.
