Hardware damage when volume button is jammed

Hello,

Unfortunately I was able to mount my new iPhone 12 pro on my Joby gorillapod with the volume down button stucked between the mounting clip, so that the volume button was constantly being pushed down for two hours. The display showed this rare volume line on the left side before I discovered that the button actually was stucked.

Can anything by this volume button by being pushed down somehow burn off something inside the hardware if it is constantly deployed?
