Hand washing 20 second notification

I’m having problems with notification that the 20 seconds has elapsed. My watch will intermittently work making the vibration and sound usually after a restart. As far as either on the watch or my iPhone there is no option to do anything with the sound or vibration in either of these places. I think there used to be but they are missing now. This all started happening after the last update I think. Any thoughts?

If you followed the steps in:

Wash your hands with Apple Watch Series 4 or later - Apple Support

Then trhe first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
