Charging My iPhone 6+

I just bought a wireless charger and a special case for the iPhone in order to do the charging. The manual for the charger calls for a 5V/2A USB adapter. I only have a 5V/1A adapter. When I put the phone on it the charge is going down instead of up. That’s probably because every 30 seconds the screen lights up to tell how much battery charge is left. Would this be because of the underpowered adapter or something else?

More than likely. The iPhone does not normally light to let you know about battery charge. That is happening because of the lack of power to supply to the charging circuit on the iPhone. You will need to look for a different power adapter that supports that particular wireless charging unit.
