Canon Pixma G2010 driver for MacOS 10.14 or later

Hi, I’ve downloaded and tried a few drivers from the internet but none seem to work with G2010. I just bought this printer and it sucks knowing that it’s not compatible with mac. Help please.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Drivers from where? Canon seem to have no Mac software or driver for this printer.

The technical specifications page for the Pixma G2010 series lists Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 SP1 but do not mention any version of the macOS. Additionally the specs state that "This printer cannot be used with the iOS, Android and Windows 10 S.

If you cannot find it via the Printers & Scanners system preference it is a good sign that it will not function with your MacBook. Take it back and exchange it for one that does.
