Since Apple would have made sure it worked if they replaced the battery, we have to assume you did it yourself or had it done by a 3rd party shop.

Apple won't touch that phone.

Who replaced the battery in your phone? If you had a 3rd party replace the battery, Apple may be unwilling to touch your phone. If this is your situation, take it back to whoever you paid to replace the battery.
