Apple Car Play volume too low

When I am using Apple Car play in my 2018 Honda Accord and Apple maps, the voice is so low as to be unintelligible. I can turn the volume up on the car radio, but that makes the music way WAY too loud.

I cannot seem to figure out how to increase the volume. I plugged my phone into a different car with Apple Car play (Subaru) and it works just fine.

Have Apple enabled a volume restriction on the IPhones software And if so how can it be removed. I am an adult and should be able to decide for myself what is a safe volume when listening to music. The volume is only low when music is being played. When making or receiving a call the volume goes up. If the volume cannot be altered when I want to listen to music in the car because of Apple software restrictions then the iPhone is nothing more than an expensive brick and I will move over to another phone manufacturer.

Low volume when calling in car, normal volume music Since my update to iOS 16, the volume in my car when calling is very low. When I play some music the volume is normal. I tried everything, resetting the phone, delete it, reconnect it, hit all the volume buttons the universe has to offer but nothing seems to work. Is this an iOS 16 bug or am I missing something. Thanks for any help.

Can’t adjust sound on apple car play video when playing a video on Facebook and it connects through the apple car play, I can’t change the sound level either on the phone or the radio button.
