merge two apple id

I have two Apple IDs - one with my Gmail address with a period and one without. How can I merge them?

iPhone 7, iOS 14

You can't merge Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
