When trying to use screen mirroring with Fitness+ and my Samsung Series 8 TV, I can watch the preview of the workout on the TV but when the actual workout begins, the video on the TV goes black and I can only hear audio. The video stream pops back to my iPhone. Apple Support says I must use an Apple TV device but then why does the preview and the audio still mirror to TV, just not the video? I can't seem to find a solution.

Unfortunately you’re not going to be able to I’m not even able to mirror my fitness plus to my actual Apple TV because it’s an older model of Apple TV. Apple is getting absolutely ridiculous I had my phone stolen and realized this morning that you cannot even download the Apple Watch app onto an Apple iPad. Apple product should all be able to connect all the across-the-board I am so disappointed an apple right now.

Thank you, you are right. I pulled the old Apple TV device out of a drawer, hooked it up and got it running. It's a pretty fun app once you get it going.
