Apple Music account and iHome

When I ask Siri to play music [on iPod speaker] she replies "Something is up with your Apple Music account. For details see the Home App."

There is nothing wrong with my Apple Music account. I am able to play music on the iPod speaker by using my iPhone as a controller to select music, then switch the sound output to the speakers. I have been unable to configuring two iPod speakers using iHome. I don't need iHome for any other devices. Is there another way to configure without iHome?

Why can’t Siri play songs that I own, that are stored in a linked iTunes library, through my AppleTV? There are 25k+ songs in my iTunes library, meticulously curated, that I play on my stereo via an Apple TV 4K over WiFi with only minor glitchiness. Why cannot Siri, when asked via the AppleTV remote, play these songs?? For some reason I need an Apple Music account? Bullcrap!!
