I want to buy a single Song in Apple Music on my Mac. I followed the advice; no buy option can be found. How can I do it?

Are you certain you are in the iTunes part of the App?
Make sure Show iTunes Store is selected in the Music app's Preferences. Then you can select iTunes Store on the left pane in the app. Then it should work. If you try anywhere else to buy music it won't work. Cause that's the Apple Music part, and that's like Spotify listen only.

Yes, I am in iTunes and I have the Preferences set right. I can click on iTunes Store on the left, but when I enter a song to search for in the search box on the top left, it deselects the iTunes Store. So.. how can I get to a song I want to buy, and still stay in the Tunes store? thx
When you are in the iTunes Store and select search. Make sure you also select the iTunes tab in the top right area. Otherwise it will search in Apple Music by default.

I followed the advice here on my Mac with latest OS, and it does not work. I have preferences set right and I still can't buy music. Surely there must be a way?
