I just got a new iphone. With it comes a one year free apple tv. I have logged in. I would like to change the language from german into english.

Some content with stay in German in Germany regardless (like text on tiles and possibly descriptions).
Some third party content (e.g. Hollywood movies) will be supplied in Germany in German dubbed version only, or as default.
The app interface can be set on Macs in System Preferences (apps follow device language).
