My phone has scratches all over the screen. I have a case I’m the phone and it is in immaculate condition but the screen has very obvious scratches. $1200 for a phone and the screen scratches super easily? I am very disappointed. Non of my other iPhone screens ever scratched.

I have found the iPhone 12 screen does indeed scratch very easily, which is most disappointing considering Apple’s vaunted “Ceramic Shield”; “clearly tougher than any smartphone glass” they boast. I must say I was taken in by this and as I am very careful with my phones didn’t think a protector was required but I was wrong.
Considering the high price point for these devices and the fact that the screen is easily scratched as evidenced by the many posts on this subject, it seems to me that Apple should recommend screen protectors or better still fit them. In my experience they do neither of these things however.
You failed to use a screen protector.
Cosmetic damage is not covered by the warranty.
In store purchases the reps to suggest them.
