I just purchased MacBook Air with M1 processor. After setting it for my iCloud account and others, I restarted the computer, but I can't log in to the computer. Password doesn't work.
Tried to reinstall OS, but it requires to unlock the disk and I can't unlock with the passwords that I used to use. So frustrating and confusing!
Please help me what to do.

Be aware the startup key combination for the Apple Silicon devices is no longer Ctrl+R. Press and hold the power button instead.
