Screen is totally dead - iPhone 12 mini. Can't shut down - requires the screen. Also, phone goes black, then background shows, then goes black again intermittently. Neither Apple support, or ATT support (where I bought it) can help. Fix?

You can try a force restart by quickly pressing and releasing the volume up button, then the volume down button and then pressing and keep holding the power button until the device reboots and the apple logo appears. That’s as much of a tip or advise I can give atm.

i have a new iPhone 12 and screen doesn't respond to touch at all. have done soft and hard reset multiple times - still doesn't work. phone is brand new (<30 days). took off silicone case and still nothing. took to AT&T - was told they only replace within 14 days. no apple stores open due to Covid. so only option is to ship in the phone. which means i'm without a phone (which i need for my job). very frustrating.

You bought it from AT&T and they say they will not repair it?

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having a similar issue. The screen is completely black, also a month-old phone. I just set it down, then came back to it and I can't do anything.
