Cannot empty trash - Catalina installer stuck?

A few weeks ago I made a bootable Catalina usb drive. I trashed the 'install Mac OS X Catalina' app when I was finished.

Days later, I tried to empty my trash but this file cannot be deleted:

It refuses to delete.

I am on an iMac 2014 with bluetooth keyboard and I cannot for the life of me, boot into safe mode or internet recovery. My thought was to try to delete in safe mode, or run disk utility from recovery. I ran disk utility just logged into the computer and that did not allow me to delete it.

I checked the permissions of the file, I 'unlocked' it and that still does not work. The file cannot be deleted.

I tried altering the boot up sequence using terminal so it would auto launch into safe mode, but this command in terminal does not work either.

I am on Big Sur.

At this point, it looks like I need to BUY a wired keyboard, to eventually boot into safe mode, to delete a file?
