External Monitor (Vizio HDTV D Series) Screen Resolution using Macbook Pro (Mojave)

Hi, I just bought two Vizio HDTV D Series TV's to use as monitors for my 2016 Macbook Pro running Mojave. I am unable to adjust the screen resolution or improve the picture above the setting shown in the attached graphic. It looks like the Macbook does not recognize the two HDTV's. Any ideas on how to overcome this?

I see this for each display in Preferences.

Are you using USB-C to HDMI 2.0/2.0a/2.0b/2.1 cables to the correct HDMI ports on these TVs, and what happens when you power off the two TVs and the MacBook Pro, then power on each TV, and finally the MacBook Pro? Have you pressed the option key with that Display panel, and then click Detect Display. What is the refresh rate that the TV is using for its HDMI ports?
